Golden Triangle Indochine Restaurant
These few days got too many 烦人鸡婆 things to 'worry', so a person like me when going out dining 竟然忘记戴相机出门!
Yesterday at E-Gate Beguadro already missed it. *Haiyoh, how often could I have come to Beguadro leh? zhan hai yah! *
Today I went to Prai- Nagasari there to visit a machinary 'factory'. So....yup! You are right! Got free lunch lah. BUT....I forgot to bring my camera lah! I will not be so kao bin puey to take the food pics lah in front of vendors but if let's say I got the camera, I WILL at least able to take the the interior pic to show you ppl mah.
Golden Triangle (Indochine - Restaurant & Sensation) @ Autocity
It serves Thai, Vietnamese and Laotian food. I don't know what Laotian means. Anyone kindly enlighten me?!
I see that most ppl coming here for the Thai food. To me, it's like Siriwan at Kystal Point loh.
Dishes ordered were lemon steamed fish (high recommended by the vendor), sotong in coconut, spring rolls, kailan, tom yam soup, crab tang hoon, pandan chicken and sago mango dessert.
The dishes were good, definitely good.
How much does it cost for this lunch? Sorry I don't know. But the pricing is more or less like Siriwan that standard loh. *wink wink*

Tao @ Autocity, Juru (part II)
We got a very good waitress named Lim Pei Shi who served us very well. Without her, our dining experience would not be that satisfying and happy.
Some of our table favourite dishes are these. Salmon roll with papaya (highly recommended), grilled salmon, scallop, sashimi and vinegar octopus.
The members liked the seafood / pumpkin soup.
I like the steamed radish.
Dishes that I personally felt that were not as good as E-Gate there (which I have tasted before) are: chawan mushi, steamed tofu, miso soup & california roll. The sashimi slices were obviously smaller too. :( I don't know lah, perhaps all these were due to weekend dining crowd?! )
Part I is about the deco.
Tao @ Autocity, Juru (part I)
We 6x chose to celebrate YY's birthday here. At Tao, the birthday gal is entitled to get 50% discount on her birthday month, but limited to only 1x.
Remember we vowed before to come here when we are more READY?! *wink * So we made it finally. :)
Frankly I have taken too many pics and I got difficulty in merging which with which to let you see the best combination. Sorry I couldn't afford to post up every single one with original size coz that will be a whole lot of them man!这个遗憾,我就让你们自个儿亲自去照访填补吧! 哈!
Here you go!
Near the entrance
The business hours. We chose the first session which is 5.30 -8.00pm. From my past experience at Tao E-Gate, I know well that we have no need to be kiasu, coz after 1 hr most probably everyone is 3/4 full. Therefore I organized to reach there by 6p.m.
The front staircase leading to TAO
The back staircase
The stone walkway leading to restaurant
The interior of restaurant
The lounge & unplugged portion
The interior part. Group seat will be along the glass window. Each table is partitioned by bamboo sticks and luminated by 3x cone lamps.
The toilet bamboo tap is very special.
A lot of Bali style sculptures there.
That's the TAO's night look from front
The view when you look down from Tao @ first floor.
Part II will be the TAO dishes.

I think many ppl still don't know this place yet lah...just opened 5 mths nia mah. OK, it's at the back of Hock Chuan Hiang lah, use the same road go further in. If you are observant enough, you can see the jiao pai actually at your left hand side when you drive near the jelutong coastal highway flyover (immed after traffic light) from jetty->bayan baru direction, there indicated got a restaurant under the flyover there.
They served SEAFOOD lah mainly. We ordered cincai, I very bz jaga kids, only got this dish of seafood to show you. It's called tua tao thun.
The place is very spacious, can accomodate ~35 tables. Due to mother's day, it is fully booked. And....I saw song river's morning bak kut teh 's tao chiu here...no need to 'draw kong chao draw out wall', meaning.....you know lah. *wink*
