Crystal Spring Roll Skin Stuff with Vege and Chicken Meat (RM 6.90) My rating : 5/10
Inside wrapping with glass noodle, chicken breast meat, carrot, cucumber, lettuce. I appreciate eating this with the sauce otherwise it would be rather bland. If the cutting could be finer for each vege type and if the skin could be made to hold the vege more firmly, then it would have added marks on this dish.

Ko Fu Sesame Seed Ball (RM 10.90) My rating 5/10
I believe this is the dish where one could get good shot no matter where you place your camera angle at. :) I would vote this one as the best-presentation dish of the day!

The sesame- fried skin was VERY 'firm' and the meat was OK a bit spicy in taste. BUT I personally couldn’t accept the combination of these two materials. Er…….it’s an appetizer? Not sour nor sweet in particular, but it served rather like a main course type of meat balls to me?
Not as oily as I thought. This is another dish that needs a dip of sauce and also the addition of side ingredients to enhance flavour.

All in 1 Roasted Meat with Vegetables (RM 19.90) My rating : 4/10
This mini Poon Choi set comes with rice, kailan with oyster sauce and pickles. Inside the pot you can find conch slices, roasted meat, prawns, pak choy and broccoli.

I found that the prawns were not fresh. The soup base/ gravy tasted differently (in wide scale) too in different claypots. I couldn’t accept ours having the taste of one kind, which I didn't know how to describe precisely. It's like a weird strong pak choy vege taste?! and the other pot was like having too strong of meat taste?! Of course what could I have expected from a RM19.90 Poon Choi leh right?! OK, I will request for just one simple thing – the soup base could be sweet or sour but definitely not to taste ‘weird’.

Sago+water chestnut in coconut milk (RM3.50) My rating: 3/10
It’s served like this, frothy -look. Oops! First scoop tasted very weird, getting used to it from second scoop onwards till the last drop. In fact, most of them stopped after trying their first scoop. Frankly speaking, I yearned to have a good dessert to end my meal but it seemed like this round I got to let go. One could be very creative and innovative in recipe but please make sure we customers buy it ok?! :)

In overall for the food here, it's more towards ‘healthy’ taste, meaning lack of excessive usage of salt, sugar or spices. The ala carte dishes definitely need more room for improvement.

Duck meat wrapped with egg crepe. The duck meat was rather dry, its skin was batter-fried and tasted a bit powdery. I prefer the crunchy skin type. Egg crepe wise, I hardly smell 'egg'?!
This one was a bit oily. Texture wise, the squid was very ‘bouncy’ – “toi toi “ though.
Fried Seafood Emperor Noodle (RM 12.90) – My rating 3/10
No taste basically, let alone the ‘emperor’ expectation. Just plain noodle fried with some squids, prawns, eggs and crabmeats. I believe one would be more willing to spend RM12.90 for a dish of fried noodle with wok hei and more SEAfood.

Jingdo Pork Rib (RM14.90) My rating : 6/10
This one was too pepper-ish, I don’t like this. It won't be enticing enough for me to eat more than two pieces. Texture wise, the piece that I ate was rather hard.
