收工宴 @ Starview Restaurant (仙景楼饭店)

This is the first time I visited Starview at this new location @ New World Park. We, a gang of 4 tables all went based on "A-A basis".

Good Luck 'Yu Sang' (鸿运捞鱼生) - Personally I think this is better than the Goh Teo Kee Sg Ara one.

2x Jugs of Fresh Orange Squash for us the ladies' tables. The gentlemen's tables were served with red wine.

Four Seasons (特色四季盘) - This four seasons dish is very good! Four types of dishes with distinctive flavour each.

Seafood Shark's Fin Soap with Dried Scallops (干贝海味翅) - I personally prefer this one to the one at Goh Teow Kee Sg Ara.

清债 @ Sakae Sushi

We always believe in clearing all the whatever hutang before CNY. Therefore I cleared my hutang 'makan' @ Sakae Sushi.

Festive Moments Blac (RM9.90++) - This one is good, only available for CNY period. This sushi is topped with thick layer of mayonnaise.

Tenzaru Soba (RM16.90++) - I was a bit disappointed at this order.

Salmon Sashimi (RM5.90++) - Nowadays I benchmark every sashimi to RYOMA's standard. I must be fair not to compare big apple with banana :)

This is another satisfactory meal we had yesterday, just like the one I had in Dragon-i.

Appetizer - tau kua with seasoned cucumber and chilli sauce.

Imperial Hot & Sour Soup (宫廷酸辣汤) - I was a bit 'shocked' when seeing the bowl. *IMPERIAL, alright....! * :)

I like the soup. It's not like the typical Sichuan style which is very sour. You could see how abundant the ingredients are in the soup.

I don't wanna mention the lor mee at the cross junction of kimberley street & Carnavon street. This is the one located at the first kopitiam @ Carnavon Street.

The lor mee is unlike the usual lor mee with dark colour gravy and comes with typical hokkien mee ingredients. This one is lighter in colour and it's to be served with vinegar. Yup! It makes me feel like eating shark fin soup. Ha! Ingredients got fish slices, fish cakes and oops...I forgot.

The same kopitiam also selling pei par duck. Of coz this is another satisfactory dish. :)

I remembered there's one post regarding frog porridge mentioned by NKOTB . Finally I've had the chance to try it out.

This is a very smooth and fine broth. *How I wish that I could have the chance to eat such broth every morning!*

田鸡 Bull Frog in claypot (1 Rm9, 2 Rm17, 3 RM25, 4 RM33) - you can choose frying either with kung pou style (宫保) or kiong chong style (姜葱).

Aiks....too little leh...tak puas loh cam ni...:)

养心殿 (Young Heart Restaurant) @ Jalan Cantonment, Pulau Tikus.

If you've watched before the heatest taiwan drama "命中注定我爱你" (Fated To Love You) in 2008, then you should know that who 纪纯希 is. The owner of this restaurant is also having the same surname. She is Ann Kee.

By looking at the restaurant's chinese name - 养心殿, I believe you can roughly guess what kind of image and food the restaurant are representing. Yeah, tranquility and health- food. What else uh?!

You can spot Sweetheart Hoya simply anywhere.

This food testing session was arranged by CK . We - twelve of us were honoured to be invited by Ann Kee to test out their latest promotion on CNY dishes.

瓜拉牛拉螃蟹炒米粉 (Kuala Gula Crab Fried Bee Hoon)

Last weekend I joined an Eco-recreational trip to Kuala Gula @ Kuala Kurau,Perak. (瓜拉牛拉生态旅游)

First Day Lunch @ 瓜拉牛拉爱娣海鲜饭店 (Kuala Gula Ai Di Fan Dian)

螃蟹炒米粉 (Crab fried bee hoon) - the crab of coz mou tak teng lah!

I could taste the zhyuu yao zha (猪油渣) in the bee hoon. Is this good or bad leh?! According to cai lan (蔡澜), got zhyuu yao then only good one woh! :)

Disappointing Lunch @ The Sire

Unlike last visit ,this time I was very disappointed with the food. We were wondering could it be the chefs were also celebrating new year eve uh and partying till dawn that's why the food was at THIS standard or could we have made the wrong choices, again?

We were the first table to be served for lunch.
